When washing your car, pay special attention to the windows. You will want to roll them all down and take the time to wash the very top and edge, which are places that grime and dirt tend to accumulate. After the wash is done, be sure to add a coat of wax.
Inside, take a paintbrush to the air vents to help remove the dust that accumulates there. Vacuuming is a great start, but it is not enough. Use a brush to loosen up the dirt that gets crushed down into the carpet and mats. Be sure to save the vacuuming for last, however, so that it does not get dirty again as you move on to the top of your car.
